Are linen placemats heat resistant?
Linen tolerates warm plates well, but use a trivet under hot pots and dishes straight from the oven.
How do I wash handwoven linen?
Follow the care note on each piece. Open, fine weaves such as the Tinita and Transparent lines are hand-washed at up to 30°C and not wrung or tumble-dried; linen is ironed hot, ideally while still slightly damp.
