Georgs Romulis is a third-generation amber maker and jeweller in the heart of Riga's Old Town, where his boutiques on Krāmu iela and Tirgoņu iela carry the name Amber with Soul. His work begins with the stone: generous beads of milky and royal white amber, honey-coloured spheres full of golden light, and pendants chosen for the life inside them – the clouds, sparkle and swirls that make every piece of Baltic amber different. Rather than repeating a design, each jewel is built around the character of its amber, so every piece in this collection is one of a kind. It is the amber of the Baltic coast, chosen and set to be worn for a lifetime.
